REVIEW & REPORTS
Review attendance and export records
Distinguish scheduled attendance from recorded sessions, then export the right date range.
Read the daily overview
Overview shows today’s accessible team. For a different work date, open Attendance policies → Daily attendance and choose the date and branch before interpreting the counts. Attendance contains actual recorded sessions; someone without a session may be visible in Overview but have no row in the session report.
| Status | How to interpret it |
|---|---|
| Expected | Scheduled, with no recorded session yet. For a roster, the shift may not have ended. |
| Clocked in | An open attendance session. |
| Clocked out | Recorded attendance that is no longer open; inspect its session status for detail. |
| Absent | No matching attendance under the schedule rules. Review leave and the schedule before acting. |
| On leave | A scheduled date covered by an active leave entry. |
| Day off | No scheduled work for that date. |
| Needs setup | Required work assignments are incomplete. |
Find the records you need
Dates follow each session’s recorded branch work date. Department filters use current membership, while policy information comes from the recorded session snapshot. Keep All rosters selected to include regular sessions without a named roster.
Open Attendance.
Choose the inclusive start and end work dates.
Use employee search and the available branch, department, policy, roster and status filters.
Review the matching rows and move between pages as needed.
Use Refresh when you need the latest records.
Export Excel
The export includes all matching records, not only the visible page. If more than 10,000 records match, narrow your filters; Hooteyes does not silently give you a partial file.
The workbook includes work date, branch time zone, recorded policy and roster, UTC timestamps, minutes worked and lateness. Records being corrected during an export may change, so use saved monthly versions when you need a repeatable month-end view.
Apply and check your filters first.
Choose Export Excel.
Enter a filename if you want one, or keep the suggested date-based filename.
Download the workbook and confirm the date range and staff scope before sharing it.
