| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| Phone required | Use an iPhone or Android phone. A narrow desktop window or tablet is not an eligible attendance phone. |
| Needs setup / no schedule | Ask an admin to check your active branch, policy and published roster dates. |
| Device pending or revoked | Ask an owner or admin to review the registration in Devices. |
| Location denied | Enable browser location permission and precise phone location, then retry. |
| Outside the branch / inaccurate GPS | Move to the actual workplace, improve the location signal and retry. Ask an admin to verify the saved branch pin if it still fails. |
| Too early / unavailable shift | Check the shift start time and early allowance in the branch time zone. |
| Open attendance session | Finish the existing session before starting another shift. |
My shift or attendance is on the wrong date
Check the branch time zone and the shift’s start date. Overnight shifts belong to the day they start, even if clock-out is after midnight. Report dates use the recorded work date, which may differ from your device’s current calendar date.
If a published roster is active, the regular policy does not fill gaps in that roster. Ask your manager to publish the missing dates or use Return to regular schedule when appropriate.
Someone on leave is still showing absent
Check the employee, company and inclusive leave dates.
For an overnight shift, check whether its start date is covered.
Confirm that the leave entry was saved and has not been cancelled.
Refresh the daily view. For a saved monthly report, generate a new revision.
If the workspace has not received the leave update yet, ask your administrator about availability.
A list or report looks empty
Confirm the company in the profile menu.
Clear restrictive branch, person, status and date filters.
Managers: confirm that your branch access is still active.
Read any loading error and retry; do not treat a failed request as an empty result.
Remember that Attendance lists sessions, while Overview also represents scheduled people without a session.
What to send your company administrator
Include the page name, exact message, company and branch, work date, expected action and what actually happened. A screenshot of the error can help; crop out unrelated staff details.
Never include passwords, password-reset links or device credentials. Your manager handles work assignments; an owner or admin handles company permissions and device approvals.
